Jerry Johnson

CEO

Jerry Johnson, founder/principal of McClain Real Estate Development (MRED), has over 37+ years in the hotel, timeshare and fractional industry, and is now spearheading the Charlotte Club project. His previous experience includes an $85+million-dollar 96 unit ground up timeshare project in St. John, USVI, named The Westin Vacation Club - Sunterra Resorts, now part of the Diamond Resorts portfolio.

Jerry is a versatile, dynamic, entrepreneur, now developer who provides leadership, management and guidance with his ability and talents to dramatically develop niche products where revenues can intensely compete within marketplaces. He is the visionary behind this project and a strong organizer, motivator and team builder with established success in identifying new business models and emerging business opportunities. He is highly skilled in developing operational strategies, and directing a major start-up project from original concept through implementation. His experience within the hotel industry spans across multiple areas of operation, finance, accounting and development. His experience also includes service with top hotel brands like Omni, Hilton, Sunterra, Westin, Sheraton, Marriott and some independent hotel management companies, all brand names within the fractional, timeshare and hotel industry.

Paul Drummond

COO

Experienced executive with a proven track record that encompasses all facets of the development industry. Paul’s experience includes working in senior positions in hospitality and development based companies with management oversight of acquisitions, entitlements, project design and development, strategic planning, financial accounting and construction oversight. His development experience encompasses a cumulative portfolio of $2B that included luxury condominiums, multiple full service and select service hotels, residential golf course communities and mixed-use residential, retail and marina projects. projects.
